Kane Reacts To Undertaker’s Success Running AAA After WWE Takeover

Kane couldn’t be happier with what his longtime storyline brother has accomplished behind the scenes in AAA.

Since WWE acquired AAA, Undertaker has taken on a major creative role within the lucha libre promotion. The company hit a new high point last weekend at Noche de Los Grandes, where the mask vs. mask match between Ludwig Kaiser’s El Grande Americano and Chad Gable’s Original El Grande Americano earned widespread praise from wrestling fans.

Appearing on Mostly Sports with Mark Titus and Brandon Walker, Kane was asked about Undertaker’s role in AAA and the promotion’s recent momentum. The former WWE Champion didn’t hold back when discussing how impressed he has been.

After hearing the hosts mention the success of AAA and the buzz surrounding the recent mask match, Kane praised Undertaker’s abilities both as a performer and as a creative force.

“Man, it’s amazing. I’m so proud of him. He’s running AAA, which WWE bought, a Mexican promotion, and it’s super hot. I think it just shows how talented he is.”

Kane then pointed to Undertaker’s legendary WWE career as proof of his unique understanding of the wrestling business.

“He is the only person that could have made The Undertaker believable. Anybody else, they could have never pulled that.”

According to Kane, that talent has now carried over into the creative side of the industry.

“Well, his ability in wrestling transcends that even. Now he’s booking and running a company. As you said, hottest match of the year. The promotion is super hot. And I’m just really proud of what he’s doing.”

The praise comes after AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes event, which saw Ludwig Kaiser defeat Chad Gable in the El Grande Americano mask match. Following the victory, Kaiser retained the character while Gable was forced to unmask. Undertaker also publicly celebrated the success of the event afterward, thanking fans for helping create a memorable atmosphere.

“The atmosphere was electric. The world was watching. History was made.”

“To all those in attendance in Monterrey and for everyone who watched #AAANocheDeLosGrandes wherever you did…thank you for making it a truly epic night for @luchalibreaaa!”

With AAA building momentum under WWE ownership and TripleMania scheduled for September in Las Vegas and Mexico City, all eyes will be on whether Undertaker and the promotion can continue their recent run of success.
