Kendal Grey made sure WWE NXT ended with a message, and Lola Vice was the one who got cracked with it.

The June 16 episode of WWE NXT closed with Kelani Jordan and Zaria taking on Kendal Grey and Lola Vice. The match already had plenty of heat because Grey and Lola are headed toward a major title fight at Great American Bash, but the real story came after the bell. Lola and Kendal picked up the win after Tatum Paxley got involved and distracted Zaria. Lola took advantage, hit the spinning back fist, and got the pin.

Then things got ugly fast. After the match, Lola started doing the classic champion pose with the title. Kelani Jordan grabbed the belt, but Kendal Grey pulled it away from her. Grey then turned around and blasted Lola with the championship before NXT went off the air.

That was the final image WWE left fans with. Lola Vice may be the champion, but Kendal Grey just made it clear she is not walking into Great American Bash as some happy challenger. She is coming for the title, and she had no problem using the belt itself to send the message.

The ending also made the NXT Women’s Title picture feel even messier. Lola got the win, Kelani still wants her piece, and Kendal stood tall after dropping the champion with her own gold. That is exactly how you heat up a title match before a big show. Now Lola Vice has to head into Great American Bash knowing Kendal Grey already got one big shot in before the bell ever rings.

Do you think Kendal Grey is taking the NXT Women’s Championship from Lola Vice at Great American Bash?
