All Elite Wrestling brought Double or Nothing to Louis Armstrong Stadium. The main event of the night was a brutal contest, but the company had another surprise in store after that.
Darby Allin put the AEW World Title on the line against MJF in a title versus hair match at Double or Nothing. In the end, MJF won the match to start his third reign as champion.
After the match was over, Kevin Knight came down as Darby Allin was getting carted off on a stretcher. Instead of being there for his friend, Kevin Knight turned the stretcher over. This was a big heel turn and a shocking surprise at the end of the show.
MJF just stood on the top of the entrance ramp with his mouth gaping open. Obviously, he didn’t see that heel turn coming for Kevin Knight, either.
Kevin Knight was the man who gave Darby Allin a pep talk before his match. Obviously, this was a plot to get him into that dangerous encounter. Now as a heel, it appears that Kevin Knight will have to deal with his actions.
Darby Allin probably won’t let this sit for long. That being said, he was also very banged up after this AEW World Title match at Double or Nothing. Only time will tell what is next, but that was a shocking way to close out the pay-per-view.
