He played for the franchise from 2016 to 2024 and became one of the biggest faces of the team. During that period, he played 111 matches for DC and also captained the side across four seasons.
On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav’s Delhi journey ended after five successful seasons where the spinner scalped 72 wickets in 65 matches and became one of the team’s most reliable bowlers. He will now begin a new chapter with the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2026.

Interestingly, Rishabh Pant kept his farewell message to Lucknow Super Giants short and simple after his return to Delhi Capitals was officially confirmed. The wicketkeeper-batter shared LSG’s goodbye post on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Thank you team.”
Notably, Pant has been dropped from the Indian team in the white-ball formats because of his poor form with the bat. He was also stripped from the vice-captaincy of the Test team.
