- Le Mans Ultimate’s 24 Hours of Le Mans Special Event date announced
- Five dates on the Special Event calendar are marked as ‘TBA’, suggesting unannounced DLC tracks
A new Le Mans Ultimate update added the 2026-spec Toyota TR010 Hypercar and Adess AD25 LMP3 to the game today, but game custodian Motorsport Games also revealed the date for its first official 24 Hours of Le Mans Special Event.
Beset by technical issues during previous test events, MSG will lay the technical groundwork to facilitate 62-car grids and twice-round-the-clock events in the game’s upcoming V1.4 update. Not only this, but a full calendar of Special Events was also unveiled for the remainder of 2026.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans Special Event is scheduled to take place on the 20th October 2026, and will include Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3 cars.
Intriguingly, five of the endurance races have tracks currently labelled as ‘To Be Announced’, suggesting that brand-new circuits will be used. This correlates with the announcement of a new LMU Season Pass on the 4th of July.
The identities of the new tracks have yet to be revealed, but given that the 4th of July is the USA’s Independence Day, the smart money suggests there could be an American theme.
However, one thing we know for sure is that the new tracks won’t be limited to European locations, with MSG CEO Stephen Hood keen to cover “additional markets.”
