Lewis Crocker and Liam Paro went to war over 12 rounds in the main event.
Paro dethroned the defending champion, Crocker, in what was a really tough fight to score.
The Australian had a fantastic start to the fight, winning the first two rounds decisively.
‘The Croc’ was outboxed by Paro in the opening two rounds, as he worked effectively off the back foot despite the onrushing champion.
Crocker started to have some success in the third and fourth rounds as he closed the distance. He specifically targeted the body as he looked to slow down the elusive Paro.
Going into the second half of the fight, it seemed all to play for, with many having the contest level.
The champion continued to pile pressure onto Paro and began to catch his man with some devastating shots throughout the fight.
Paro was warned a few times by referee Tony Weeks for the position of his head in close exchanges, and ‘The Croc’ continued to complain.

The final two rounds were clear rounds for the champion as he chased Paro around the ring and landed some of the biggest shots of the fight.
In the final round, Paro’s cut around his right eye worsened as blood began to pour, and he did well to defend himself with his vision obscured.
In what was a difficult fight to score, many had Crocker edging it or saw it as a draw, but it was a unanimous decision the other way.
All three judges scored the bout 115-113 to Liam Paro as he claimed the IBF welterweight crown on home soil.

Dempsey McKean vs Liam Talivaa
Dempsey McKean returned to the ring for the third time since being stopped by Moses Itauma in Riyadh.
He was drawn into something of a firefight by 31-year-old Liam Talivaa from the opening bell.
‘The Tower’ was having the majority of the success in the exchanges and looked like he could get a stoppage from the start of the third round.

McKean put Talivaa down for the first time in the fourth after a brutal barrage of shots just seconds into the round.
Throughout the contest, what was clear to see was that despite ‘God’s Son’ likely losing the rounds, he carried a constant danger.
McKean snapped his opponent’s head back before landing multiple devastating shots, forcing Talivaa to the canvas.

For the rest of the round, the 31-year-old was purely surviving as McKean looked to land the finishing shot, which eventually came in the form of a heavy straight right that forced the referee to halt the contest.
Remaining Undercard
Unbeaten Luke Modini returned to action in Queensland and picked up his 12th career stoppage.
He took control of his bout with Peng Qu. After winning the opening round, he began to turn up the pace of the fight and really started to show what he is about.

He trapped his opponent in the corner and forced the stoppage before the end of the third round.
Steven Ivic made no mistake as he put a beating on Caleb Tailu over three rounds.
It was the accumulation of damage to the body of Tailu that proved decisive. He was struck by a brutal shot to the ribs that forced the referee to step in after three punishing rounds.
Riley Candy scored a lightning-quick knockout over Brayden Rawlins in the first round.
