Liverpool visit Aston Villa on Friday night, in their final away game of the Premier League campaign.
Arne Slot’s side cruised to the top flight title last term during his first season in charge, but have struggled this time around.
The Reds currently sit fourth in the Premier League table but are not yet assured of a place in next season’s Champions League, although a draw at Villa Park will be enough to secure their qualification.
Uncertainty continues to surround the future of Slot on Merseyside, however, with Liverpool supporters audibly venting their frustration during and after their 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Saturday.
Ahead of their trip to face the Villans, it has emerged that one of Liverpool’s most important players of the last few years is in talks with another club.
As per journalist Ben Jacobs, goalkeeper Alisson is in talks with Serie A side Juventus and could leave Anfield this summer.
The report claims that the Brazilian ‘keeper has been in discussions with the Old Lady about a possible move this summer, however the 33-year-old will not force through a move if Liverpool are reluctant to let him leave.

Alisson joined Liverpool from Italian side Roma back in 2018 and has since made 332 appearances for the club across all competitions, keeping 137 clean sheets and conceding 305 goals.
The Brazil international has missed several matches due to injury this season and has been struggling with a hamstring problem of late, limiting him to just 25 Premier League starts so far this campaign.
Jacobs claims that, if Alisson does depart Anfield, current second-choice ‘keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will be given the opportunity to cement his place as Liverpool’s number one next term.
The Georgian has also suffered with injuries this season, but it is claimed that he will be trusted to replace Alisson if the latter departs.
