Liverpool will hope to take a huge step towards qualification for next season’s Champions League when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds cruised to the Premier League title last term but have been well below par for much of this season, and currently face a battle to qualify for Europe’s premier club competition.
Arne Slot’s side occupy fifth place at present and could take advantage of the English top flight being handed another qualification spot, although they are just three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
Ahead of that game, it has emerged that one of Liverpool’s most important players is on the radar of one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Serie A giants Juventus are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper and have identified Liverpool’s Alisson as their ‘dream target’.
The Italian journalist claims that Juve are keen to sign the Brazilian this summer, despite the Reds having triggered a 12-month extension to keep Alisson’s contract running until the end of next season.

Having joined Liverpool from Roma in 2018, the 33-year-old has since built a reputation as one of the best ‘keepers in world football.
In total he has kept 137 clean sheets in 332 games for the Merseyside outfit across all competitions, winning eight trophies including the Champions League and two Premier League titles.
Romano claims that Alisson is open to the idea of Italy, having previously impressed in Serie A during his time with Roma.
Despite this, the Brazil international is committed to Liverpool and will assess his future in the coming weeks and months.
Liverpool are also said to be plotting talks with both Alisson and fellow goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili’s representatives.
