Maple Leafs prospect Tinus Luc Koblar set to play for Rögle BK in SHL next season
Reports indicate that the 18-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract with Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League for next year after spending the 2025-26 season with Leksands IF.
Koblar wrapped up his first SHL season by appearing in 47 games, recording eight goals and six assists. His 14 points ranked 10th for most points among all skaters on Leksands IF. Leksands IF finished the year with a 16-27-2-7 record, eventually falling to HV71 in the best-of-7 relegation series, leading to Koblar’s move to Rögle BK.
Rögle BK finished the 2025-26 season with a 25-14-5-8 record, finishing fourth place in the SHL, before falling to Skellefteå AIK in the SHL finals. Some notable players who have spent time with Rögle BK following being selected are Lian Bichsel, Moritz Seider, and Marco Kasper.

The Norwegian-born forward has put his name on the map as the IIHF World Championships have gotten underway. In four games with Norway, Koblar has recorded three goals and two assists, including a goal against Canada during Norway’s 6-5 overtime loss on Thursday.
A strong showing next year with Rögle BK could lead to Koblar making the jump to the American Hockey League to round out the 2026-27 season. Koblar will be 19 when the puck drops next season and is giving Maple Leafs fans hope that the management found a gem at 64 during the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
