Mark Scheifele becomes first Jet in 2.0 history to hit 100 points in a season
There was at least one positive to pull out of the Winnipeg Jets’ 6-2 loss on Monday night to the Vegas Golden Knights, which ended any playoff hopes that were barely still alive, as forward Mark Scheifele became the first Jet in 2.0 history to reach 100 points in a season.

CENTURY MARK. đź’Ż

For the first time in his career Mark Scheifele has hit 100 points in a season!

The 33-year-old centreman became the first Jets 2.0 player to hit the century mark when he earned an assist on Gabriel Vilardi’s 30th of the season to get the Jets on the board in the third period.

But No. 55 wasn’t done hitting new records there.

Just a couple of minutes later, he fired his 35th of the season past Vegas goaltender Carter Hart to pass Marian Hossa’s 100-point season with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006-07, becoming the all-time franchise leader in points in a single season with 101.

“Yeah, I’m very blessed. I’ve played with some amazing players,” said Scheifele. “I’m a very blessed man. I’ve just got to thank God for it all. I’m proud of myself and I know there’s still more, so that’s exciting.”

101 POINTS.

The FRANCHISE RECORD for most in a season!!

Despite Scheifele’s career year, Winnipeg will miss the postseason for the first time since the 2021-22 season.

Scheifele, the first draft pick in Jets 2.0 history, was selected seventh overall in the first round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. In 80 games this season, he has recorded 35 goals and 66 assists for 101 points. In 959 career games, he’s accumulated 371 goals and 534 assists for 905 points.

He hit the 900-point mark on April 6 against the Seattle Kraken.

Winnipeg has two games remaining in the 82-game 2025-26 regular season. The Jets are in Utah for their final road game of the season before returning home to face San Jose in the season finale on Thursday.
