….the temperature is around 25 degrees cooler. What a benefit, to have this one hour drive from me.
We do a short, 2 mile hike around the top, with a longer hike planned for tomorrow.

In the distance, a fire lookout. Seems like drones would do a better job but probably a good reason not to use them.
Always a curious site, water being pumped, deposited in this bathtub sized item and then flowing down canyon. Hikers dip directly from the tub but I think I’d filter the water, first.
