Megamo introduces the Along range for model year 2027: five e-gravel bikes built around one conviction — that the best ride is the one that keeps going regardless of what the surface does next. With a carbon frame, the new Avinox motor system and a 600 Wh integrated battery, the Along sets a new reference point for assisted gravel riding.
A carbon frame as the foundation
Every Along starts from the same carbon frame, engineered to handle the vibration and unpredictability of mixed terrain without losing the efficiency that makes long days in the saddle possible. The geometry is built around 50c tyre clearance as a non-negotiable baseline — the frame is designed for the tyre, not the other way around.
In the top-tier models, full cable integration and a one-piece carbon cockpit keep the cockpit clean and aerodynamic, an advantage that compounds over hours on the bike.
Avinox motor: gravel-tuned from the factory
The Along range splits across two variants of the Avinox motor family. The M2S — fitted to the 01, 03 CW and 03 — delivers 130 Nm and 1,300 W peak, with assistance modes tuned specifically for gravel use: smooth power delivery on rolling terrain, progressive support on climbs, and enough reserve for technical sections without feeling artificial.
The M2, on board the Along 10 and Flatbar, produces 110 Nm and 1,100 W — more than enough for mixed-surface adventures, in a package that keeps the bike’s weight and price accessible. Both motors share the Avinox DPC100 display, legible and intuitive without interrupting the line of the frame.
SRAM XPLR: the natural choice for e-gravel
Three of the five Along models run SRAM’s XPLR platform — Force AXS (Along 01) and Rival AXS (Along 03 CW and 03) — and the choice is deliberate. XPLR was built from the ground up for gravel riding: a 13-speed cassette offering wide range without a front derailleur, wireless shifting with no cable routing to complicate the clean carbon frame, and proven reliability under load and in variable conditions.
For the Along 10 and Flatbar, Shimano’s GRX and Deore families provide a different but equally coherent philosophy — a mechanical backbone that is robust, intuitive and straightforward to service anywhere in the world.

600 Wh battery: built for the distance
A 600 Wh Avinox battery sits inside the down tube of every Along, sized to match the ambition of the range. The top-spec models charge via the 12A fast charger, reducing downtime between stages. The Along 10 and Flatbar use the standard 4A charger — still capable of a full charge overnight and ready for the next morning’s ride.
Wheels and tyres: 50c for every surface
The Vittoria Terreno T50 Mixed in 50c runs across the entire Along range — fast enough on packed gravel and tarmac connectors, with the volume and profile to absorb rougher tracks and provide confidence on loose descents. Wheel quality scales with the model: carbon Vision TC45 i30 rims on the 01 and 03 CW for stiffness and low rotational weight, and Megamo’s own All Road aluminium wheels on the 03, 10 and Flatbar — strong, reliable and proven on demanding terrain.
Five versions. One identity.
From the Along 01 at 7,999 € — with SRAM Force AXS, DT Swiss F132 fork and carbon Vision wheels — to the Along Flatbar at 3,699 €, configured for riders who want e-gravel versatility in a flat-bar format. Every model shares the same frame, the same battery capacity and the same tyre philosophy. What changes is the level of componentry, not the character of the bike.

Frame geometry: designed around gravel use
The Along geometry is not a road bike adapted to wider tyres. Key parameters are set specifically for mixed-terrain riding:
| Parameter | Design rationale |
| Reach / Stack balance | Upright-forward position — maximises comfort on long mixed-terrain rides without penalising power transfer on climbs. |
| Chainstay length | Lengthened vs pure road to improve traction on loose surfaces and provide room for 50c tyres without heel clearance issues. |
| Bottom bracket drop | Moderate drop keeps the centre of gravity low while maintaining enough clearance for gravel-specific tyre widths. |
| Head tube angle | Slightly slacker than road (71–72°) for predictable steering on gravel descents and loaded bikepacking setups. |
| Tyre clearance | Minimum 50c (full mud) on all sizes — the geometry is built around the tyre, not adapted to it. |
Sizes S through XL maintain consistent handling character through proportional adjustments to reach, stack and chainstay length, avoiding the geometry shifts that can make larger or smaller sizes feel like different bikes.
Recommended rider height by size: S = 160–170 cm · M = 168–178 cm · L = 176–186 cm · XL = 184 cm+
The Megamo Along is built for the rider whose appetite for exploration exceeds what the current generation of e-gravel bikes can offer.
The combination of Avinox motor power, the highest available in the category, with a Carbon SL — 1,300 g (TBC size M) frame, road-specific geometry, integrated cockpit and 600 Wh battery delivers a platform that gives experienced road cyclists exactly what they want: more road, more climbing, more riding, without changing how they ride.
