Michelle McCool is not letting a fake quote attached to her name continue making the rounds online without calling it out herself.
On May 27, 2026, the WWE Hall of Famer responded to a post on Twitter that questioned whether anyone could name a memorable Michelle McCool match. The post included an image falsely claiming McCool said she was inducted into the Hall of Fame because she “revolutionized women’s wrestling” and not because she is married to The Undertaker.
McCool quickly made it clear that the quote in the graphic did not come from her, firing back at the post while dismissing the entire thing as ridiculous.
“Nah BUT I can name one quote I never said👇 #sodumb”
The fake graphic attempted to turn her marriage to The Undertaker into part of the conversation around her career and Hall of Fame recognition, but McCool’s response cut straight through it by pointing out that the supposed quote was completely invented.
McCool has dealt with outside noise surrounding her relationship with The Undertaker for years, but this time she wasn’t defending a real comment or revisiting an old interview. She was simply shutting down words that had been placed in her mouth.
The exchange also shows how easily fake wrestling quotes can circulate online once they are attached to an image and shared without any actual source. Michelle McCool clearly has no interest in letting fabricated quotes define the conversation around her career, especially when they drag her marriage into the middle of it.
What do you make of Michelle McCool shutting down the fake quote so directly? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
