Mick Foley Sets The Record Straight On His WWE History

Mick Foley wants to clear something up: he has no issue with WWE showcasing his classic matches.

Despite parting ways with the company, the hardcore legend pushed back on the notion that he was bothered by WWE continuing to air his past work. Speaking on Going Ringside, Foley made his stance clear.

“I did want to set the record straight when somebody said I was upset they were showing my matches. So my point was, first of all, they have every right to show my matches. Second, I want people to see those matches. That’s part of my history,” he said.

Foley stated that his split from WWE does not diminish the pride he takes in his career there.

“Just because we don’t have a relationship in the near future doesn’t mean I’m not proud of everything I did,” he said. He did offer one playful exception. “Some of the Dude Love stuff I wasn’t proud of, but for the most part I love doing what I did, and I’m glad that younger generations have a chance to discover it,” Foley said.
