Major League Wrestling held a new set of MLW Fusion tapings on June 11 from the Melrose Ballroom in New York City. The event featured multiple Opera Cup Tournament matches, a title defense, and a street fight main event. Several storylines were also advanced through in-ring promos and segments.

The tapings placed strong focus on the ongoing Opera Cup Tournament, with multiple first-round or advancing matches taking place throughout the night. Austin Aries, Trevor Lee, Diego Hill, Ikuro Kwon, and Big Damo all secured victories, continuing their progress in the tournament. Aries also delivered a promo declaring his intention to win the entire competition.
The MLW Middleweight Championship was defended as Templario retained against Soberano Jr., adding another successful defense to his reign. In tag team developments, The Skyscrapers stood out by confronting Killer Kross earlier in the night and later defeating Kross and Matt Riddle in a street fight.
Additional storyline progression included the Glasgow Boys targeting the Good Brothers, while the women’s division featured Saya Kamitani and Rina picking up a win over Shotzi Blackheart and Lady Frost.
