Manuel Gonzalez continues to lead in Moto2, while Maximo Quiles retained his lead in Moto3 despite a poor performance the Italian Grand Prix. Brian Uriarte made a statement with his victory, while Alvaro Carpe also leap-frogged Adrian Fernandez to P2.
Both championship leaders remain comfortably ahead in their respective categories, with Manuel Gonzalez delivering another dominant victory in Mugello. Celestino Vietti grabbed his second consecutive podium as he looks to hunt down Pramac’s Izan Guevarra in the Moto2 standings.
Despite finishing in P11 after a late mistake, Max Quiles still has a comfortable advantage at the top of the Moto3 class. Brian Uriarte’s maiden victory in the category catapults him up to 4th in the standings with Valentin Perrone falling to P7 after failing to score any points. Britain’s Eddie O’Shea made some significant progress with his P6 finish in Italy, he now moves up to 14th in the Moto3 table.
