Nakhonratchasima 3M Films VC outlast Supreme to reach Women’s Champions League final

BANGKOK, Thailand — Nakhonratchasima 3M Films VC survived a five-set battle against Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech on April 29, securing a place in the final of the AVC Women’s Champions League 2026 and earning qualification for the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship.

The Thai club claimed a hard-fought 3–2 victory (21–25, 25–20, 20–25, 31–29, 15–12), overcoming their domestic rivals in a tightly contested semifinal to book a championship clash against NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki.

Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech opened strong, taking the first set before Nakhonratchasima responded to level the match. The momentum shifted throughout the contest, with both teams exchanging sets and forcing a decisive fifth.

The fourth set proved pivotal as Nakhonratchasima edged a tense 31–29 finish, carrying that momentum into the deciding set where they held firm to close out the win.

Kaewkalaya Kamulthala led Nakhonratchasima with a match-high 26 points, anchoring the team’s attack and net defense in crucial moments.

For Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech, Kuttika Kaewpin delivered a strong performance with 24 points, keeping her side competitive throughout the match, particularly during extended rallies and key scoring runs.

Statistically, the match remained closely contested, with Nakhonratchasima holding a slight edge in attack points (74–71) and a more decisive advantage in blocks (13–7), which proved critical in the later stages.

With the win, Nakhonratchasima 3M Films VC advance to the final, where they will face NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki for the continental title. Both teams have secured the tournament’s two available spots in the world championship, representing Asia on the global stage.
