NACSAR 26, The Game, will be releasing a little earlier this year, with a new cover star.
Hendrick Motorsports driver and reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson will adorn the front of the latest official title.
An exact release date has not yet been confirmed, although it will be in September, one month ahead of its predecessor.
There are no further details about the game at the time of publication.
The game’s existence was confirmed earlier this month on an iRacing podcast, where it was stated that the project was “well into development”. It is once being created for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
NASCAR is racing at the Coronado Street Course, aka Qualcomm Circuit, this weekend, set among a San Diego naval base. The new street circuit has already been recreated for the main iRacing simulation, released earlier this month.
That same scan data is expected to be used for the venue within the NASCAR 26 game, with the cover unveiled during a presentation at the venue.
Last year’s NASCAR 25 featured several drivers on the cover, with William Byron in the main feature spot. It was released on 14th October for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, while PC (Steam) followed on 11th November.
