Interesting news breaking on Friday that Newcastle United have had an offer accepted for Zadok Yohanna.
Simon Jones of The Mail saying his information is that United have had an offer of €25million (£21.6m) accepted by AIK.
However, the man from The Mail says that Chelsea have also had an offer for the same amount accepted by AIK.
Basically, both clubs have met AIK’s valuation on the exciting 18-year-old winger.
Chelsea and Newcastle have both had bids accepted for highly-rated AIK winger Zadok Yohanna – who will now have a choice between the two clubs.
Brighton have also had talks with the Swedish club and could now potentially join the other two Premier League clubs in meeting the valuation.
The Mail report that Real Madrid, Rennes, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are also amongst the clubs who have sent staff to watch Zadok Yohanna, who is a left-footed winger that plays on the right.
Interestingly, The Mail report that AIK are obliged to make public initial details of negotiations as they are listed on the stock market and that AIK confirmed they’d opened negotiations to sell.
A statement on AIK’s website reading: ‘AIK Fotboll has initiated negotiations regarding the sale of player Zadok Yohanna. The current bid indicates a net profit effect higher than £20m. If and when an agreement has been reached, this will be communicated.’
Earlier on Friday it was reported in France that Newcastle United have had an offer of €28.5m (approx £24.6m) accepted by Stade de Reims for 20-year-old 6ft 6 goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen.
The Mail report that Newcastle United are also considering a bid for Osasuna winger Victor Munoz.
