NORTH SHORE MOUNTAIN BIKE ASSOCIATION
Thank you trail builders!
If you joined the NSMBA for a trail day, we salute you and appreciate your support of the trail network!
Across Fromme, Seymour, and Cypress, volunteers and NSMBA Trail Crew have been out clearing winter debris, rebuilding berms, fixing drainage, and cutting fresh trail.
Highlights include: new ride-around on Lower Expresso, a re-route on King of the Shore by our Youth Trail Stewards, a full rebuild of the lower half of Mystery DH, multiple days on John Deer and the start of a fresh climb reroute on Richard Juryn!

Bookwus – Mt. Fromme
Spring maintenance on Bookwus is complete — all drains have been cleared, targeted trail tread repairs made, and a key section freed of loose rock and winter debris. 1st A Frame trail tread maintenance: exit to a-frame was getting rutted and a depression had formed. Rock armouring added to the run out zone and topped up with mineral soil. The area was the covered with organic material (tree needles, etc) to camouflage the repairs.
Corkscrew – Seymour
Corkscrew trail days rebuilt armour before coaster and added mineral soil to the landing. Stairs were built to give hikers a better option and improve support for the rock work leading into the coaster. Builder and volunteers also spent time raking the trail surface, repairing eroded sections, and clearing drains throughout — a solid amount of work that puts the trail in much better shape for the season.

Mystery DH – Cypress
TAP Partner: Norco
A ton of work was completed rebuilding the lower half of Mystery DH. Stumps removed, multiple berms rebuilt and a strong volunteer turnout for the April Cypress dig ready for the first Cypress Fiver on June 11.
