NWA has added a major championship match to Hard Times 6.
The promotion announced that NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason will defend the title against Kerry Morton this Saturday at Center Stage in Atlanta, giving the event another high-profile match heading into the weekend.
The show already featured a stacked lineup, including the in-ring return of Colby Corino after recovering from a neck injury. NWA Women’s Champion Tiffany Nieves is also set to defend her title against Natalia Markova.
Hard Times 6 will feature the following confirmed matches:
- NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason vs. Kerry Morton
- Colby Corino vs. Axton Ray
- NWA Women’s Champion Tiffany Nieves vs. Natalia Markova
- Da Pope vs. Carnage
- Pretty Boy Smooth vs. Carson B. Drake
- NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Slade vs. Damian Fenrir
- NWA United States Tag Team Champions The Slimeballz vs. The Hardway
Additional appearances are scheduled from The Southern 6, The Immortals, NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions The Hex, Aron Stevens, NWA National Heavyweight Champion Mike Mondo, The Monster Gretta, Bryan Idol, Kenzie Paige, Kylie Paige, Eric Smalls, Wrecking Ball Legursky and others. Billy Corgan will also host a special pre-show fan Q&A.
NWA’s weekend doesn’t stop there. The promotion will run a live event Sunday in Grovetown, Georgia, while Saturday’s episode of Powerrr will crown a new NWA Television Champion and feature Trevor Murdoch speaking publicly for the first time since announcing his retirement.
With the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship now officially on the line, Hard Times 6 is shaping up to be one of the promotion’s biggest cards of the year.
