Oba Femi Sends Message To Brock Lesnar After Major WWE RAW Win

Oba Femi may have lost to Brock Lesnar at WWE Clash in Italy, but he made it clear on RAW that their rivalry is far from finished.

Just one night after going through a brutal match with Lesnar, Femi returned to action on the June 1 episode of RAW. Despite showing signs of damage from the previous night, he won the opening match of the King of the Ring Tournament.

After the match, he went on to challenge The Beast once again.

Oba Femi issues a warning to Brock Lesnar and plants the seed for future showdown

The opening King of the Ring Fatal Four-Way featured Oba Femi, Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes. After Femi pinned Solo Sikoa to secure the win, he grabbed a microphone and addressed the Beast.

He reminded everyone that their rivalry is now tied at one win each. While Lesnar got the better of him at Clash in Italy, Femi pointed out that he was still standing and still winning matches.

“Brock Lesnar questioned me. He asked me if I could take an ass whooping. He said, ‘Oba Femi, what do you do after receiving an ass whooping? Oba Femi, what do you do after receiving a beatdown? Oba Femi, what do you do after taking seven F5s? I’m standing, I’m winning, I took your best shot, and I’m still here. And at the end of the day, I will be King of the Ring. And you coward Brock Lesnar, don’t you ever forget, it is 1-1. I’ll see you down the line,” Femi stated.

WWE has spent months building the rivalry as a battle between one of WWE’s rising powerhouses and one of its most dominant stars. With each man holding a victory over the other, a deciding match feels like the logical next step.

Their feud began at WrestleMania 42 when Femi shocked fans by defeating Lesnar quite easily. Many saw it as a passing-of-the-torch moment, especially with all of Lesnar’s retirement gestures.

However, the Beast Incarnate responded at Clash in Italy, evening the score. But where one F5 is usually enough to incapacitate any opponent, it took Lesnar seven F5s (one of them was through the commentator’s table) to tame The Ruler.

This outcome has brought the rivalry to a standstill, with the scores tied at 1-1. Because of that, many fans are already looking toward SummerSlam 2026 as the perfect place for a third decider match.

This year’s event will take place on August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is also Lesnar’s home state.

That has led to growing speculation that WWE could use SummerSlam for a winner-take-all showdown between the two stars. Some even believe it could be Lesnar’s final WWE match. If that happens, facing Femi would make a lot of sense. A Lesnar win would allow him to go out on top, while a Femi victory would establish a real passing-of-the-torch moment.

There is already speculation that Lesnar could get involved again before the King of the Ring tournament ends. If Lesnar costs Femi a chance at the crown, it could set the stage for one final clash at SummerSlam.
