On Officially Launches THE ROGER Pro 3

ON has officially expanded its performance tennis line with the global release of THE ROGER Pro 3 tennis shoes. Launched on April 21, the third iteration of the flagship model developed with Roger Federer introduces significant material updates aimed at elite responsiveness and lateral stability.

Technical Specifications

The Pro 3 moves away from the standard EVA foams found in previous models, opting for technologies usually reserved for the brand’s elite marathon shoes.

  • Midsole: Features Helion HF hyper foam, marking the first time this high-rebound material has been used in an On tennis shoe. It is designed to maximize energy return during explosive movements.
  • Stability: A mid-foot Carbon Fiber Speedboard provides a rigid base for lateral transitions, paired with a new heel clip system to prevent foot roll.
  • Upper: A breathable, abrasion-resistant mesh supported by a cage lacing system that locks the foot down without adding excessive weight.
  • Outsole: Optimized for hard courts with a modified herringbone pattern specifically tuned for the “grip and glide” style of modern play.

Verdict – The ROGER Pro 3 tennis shoes

The ROGER Pro 3 is a clear evolution toward a “speed” shoe that doesn’t compromise on the rigid stability required for professional-level sliding. While the $220 price point keeps it in the premium tier, the inclusion of carbon fiber and hyper foam positions it as a direct competitor to other “super-shoes” on the ATP and WTA tours.

The fit remains true to size with a medium width, though players with very high arches may find the midfoot cage quite snug during the initial break-in period.

Find it available now at Tennis Warehouse (USA, Canada), Tennis Warehouse Europe or at Tennis Only (AU).
