After a falling out over a contract dispute with ONE that included some rather shocking allegations including about forged signatures, Rodtang was back in action at the inaugural ONE Samurai card on Wednesday, taking on Japanese kickboxing star Takeru.
The start of a new series for ONE Championship in Japan, ONE Samurai 1 had multiple title fights on a stacked mid-week card. Rodtang and Takeru were up for interim gold in kickboxing, while three other championship bouts also featured.
The main event also served as Takeru’s retirement fight, making the belt in question a rather one-sided affair.
