At just six years old, ONE Tennis Academy continues to grow as a developing hub for players of all ages and levels in Florida. Under Director Yulia Beygelzimer, the academy offers a structured pathway from beginner to professional level.
“We are an academy working with all ages,” Beygelzimer said. “We have kids starting at four years old and going through all the different age groups and levels, including pro players.”
The academy recently hosted a professional women’s W35 tournament, with two consecutive weeks of competition.
“It’s a professional women’s event, and we have two back-to-back weeks in a row,” she said.
Despite being a relatively young program, ONE Tennis Academy has placed strong emphasis on early development.
“We really pay a lot of importance to the younger kids because we believe the fundamentals learned at a young age are going to make a very big difference in how they develop after,” Beygelzimer explained. “As a proof, we’ve had bigger groups every year.”
Another key element is the diversity within the coaching staff.
“I believe that the diversity in the coaching team brings a big difference into our approach,” she said. “We’re able to work with different personalities and connect with players from different backgrounds.”

During the tournament weeks, the academy also introduced a networking event aimed at creating a more social atmosphere around the competition, while supporting a local cause.
“The goal was to make these two weeks more of a social event,” Beygelzimer said. “We partnered with Sofia’s Hope to help families with children battling cancer.”
Sponsors have played an important role in the academy’s growth and events.
“3D Payments is one of our main sponsors,” she said. “They’ve been a great partner, not only for the tournaments but also as our credit card processing provider.”

Beygelzimer also highlighted additional partners including Dwight Global, 1K Miami, and StretchOn Studio.
“I would like to thank everybody who helps us make these tournaments possible,” she added.
