WWE just made a pretty loud statement with NXT Great American Bash, because Lola Vice and Kendal Grey are closing the show.
Robert Stone took to Twitter and announced that Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship will be the main event. That is a huge spot for both women, and it tells you WWE clearly sees this title match as one of the biggest deals on the card.
That’s not all, as Robert Stone also revealed that Tony D’Angelo vs. NARAKU for the NXT Championship will kick off the show. So, NXT is starting with the men’s top title and ending with the women’s top title.
Lola Vice is walking in as NXT Women’s Champion after taking the title from Jacy Jayne, but Kendal Grey is not being treated like some random challenger. The former EVOLVE Women’s Champion has been rising fast, and now she gets the biggest stage of her NXT run so far.
Meanwhile, Tony D’Angelo has his own nightmare waiting for him in the opener. NARAKU has been playing mind games for weeks with cryptic gifts and strange signs of respect before earning his title shot by beating Mason Rook.
The card also has Myles Borne defending the NXT North American Championship against Tavion Heights, while Saquon Shugars goes after Dion Lennox in a personal grudge match after DarkState turned on him.
Still, the big story here is the match order. WWE is opening NXT Great American Bash with Tony D’Angelo vs. NARAKU and closing it with Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey. That is a major vote of confidence in Vice, Grey, and the NXT women’s division.
WWE Great American Bash 2026 Lineup:
- NXT Championship: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. NARAKU
- NXT Women’s Championship: Lola Vice (c) vs. Kendal Grey
- NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Tavion Heights
