WWE may have already decided which match will kick off Backlash — and it looks like Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are getting the opening spot.
According to BodySlam.net, early plans for WWE Backlash currently call for Rollins vs. Breakker to open the Premium Live Event.
The match has been building ever since Breakker returned at WrestleMania 42 and attacked Rollins during his match against GUNTHER. Since then, WWE has continued pushing the rivalry hard heading into Backlash.
The rest of the card is loaded as well, including Roman Reigns defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu and Trick Williams defending the United States Championship against Sami Zayn.
If the plans stay the same, Rollins and Breakker will likely be tasked with getting the crowd hot right away — something WWE has trusted Rollins with many times before.
Of course, WWE cards can always change before showtime, especially under the current TKO era.
