Packers Get Encouraging News On Tucker Kraft’s Recovery

Two of the Packers‘ most important players finished the 2025 campaign on injured reserve, but tight end Tucker Kraft could be back long before anyone expected.

Both Kraft and All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons saw their seasons cut short by injuries last season, and general manager Brian Gutekunst is optimistic they’ll be back on the field before long.

“They’re doing great,” Gutekunst said, during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “Tuck’s been in here every day. He’s obviously a little ahead of schedule, only because his injury happened quite earlier than Micah’s did.

“But, Micah’s a little bit of a freak, so some of that’s taken over. He’s doing really well, as well. Certainly expect both of those guys back early in the season and they’ll be a big part of what we’re doing, moving forward.”

Kraft has played an outsized role in the Packers’ passing game the past few seasons, developing into one of quarterback Jordan Love’s favorite targets.

After catching 32 passes for 489 yards and six touchdowns — just one shy of setting a new career-high, in eight games, the Packers are bullish on him elevating his game signficantly once he’s back on the field in 2026.
