The Packers came from behind to throttle the NFC North rival Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving last season, and after becoming a bit of a mainstay on Thanksgiving games in recent years, Green Bay may be about to be showcased once again.
Ahead of the NFL schedule release looming on May 14, CBS Sports’ NFL reporter John Breech put together a list of predictions for the upcoming slte of Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Eve, Black Friday, and Christmas games.
Breech thinks there’s a chance that the Packers could take on the Rams on Black Friday.
“If the Rams don’t end up in the Thanksgiving Eve game,” Breech writes for CBS Sports. “Then this would be the perfect spot for them in an NFC showdown against the Packers.”
This game could have colossal postseason predictions in the NFC, especially if it is scheduled this late in the season.
Ahead of the schedule release, the Packers could once again be a marquee draw for one of the signature games of the season.
