The Packers are in for a gauntlet in 2026.
Ahead of the 2026 NFL schedule release, there is already some data known about every team’s slate, and even some games, including the Packers’ showdown against the Los Angeles Rams on the day before Thanksgiving.
Packers face one of the NFL’s toughest schedules
According to ESPN Stats and Information, the Packers are staring down the barrel of one of the most difficult schedules and paths back to the postseason, in the league.
Playing in an NFC North Division, that houses two of last season’s NFC Playoff teams, plus the loaded Detroit Lions makes it difficult enough, but the data suggests the Packers have one of the most difficult strengths of schedules in the NFL.
ESPN Stats and Information points out that the Packers’ opponents boasted a .538 winning percentage in 2025, the fourth-most difficult in the league.
Only the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears will face a more daunting slate, on paper, across the league.
If Green Bay returns to the playoffs, it will be well-earned in 2026.
