WrestleMania 42 took over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, you never know what can happen, and the entire card was full of surprises.
At WrestleMania 42, the match was originally set as The Irresistible Forces with Nia Jax and Lash Legend defending against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins with Brie Bella and Nikki Bella. It was built as a stacked four-way for the tag titles.
Then Nikki Bella legit hurt her ankle, which put the Bella Twins’ spot up in the air. WWE still kept it a four-way, though. When it was time for the match, The Bellas came out last, with Nikki on a crutch. She said she wasn’t cleared and didn’t want to ruin Brie’s moment, so she brought out a surprise with Paige making her WWE return, who got a huge reaction.
This match got started as fans chanted “We Want Paige.” They kept her out of the match for a while, because the tension needed to be raised a bit. Instead, Brie Bella took a bit of abuse as everyone tried their best to gain an upperhand in the match. When Paige finally got the tag, Nia Jax was the first woman that she tangled with in the match. Then Paige turned her attention to Bayley before Lash Legend got involved. Paige nailed a Paige Turner on Lyra for a near fall as Bayley broke up the pinfall attempt. Then Lyra ate a Lash Extension from Legend for a near fall.
Charlotte and Paige found themselves in the ring with each other, but things turned south after that. Eventually, Paige was able to nail a Rampaige on Alexa Bliss and win the match, and this was after Paige got the knees up on a Twisted Bliss. After the match, Paige and the Bella Twins celebrated this big WrestleMania moment.
