Paige has commented on her triumphant WWE return at WrestleMania 42.
As reports indicated ahead of the PLE, former Divas Champion Paige made her WWE return at WrestleMania 42. She replaced an injured Nikki Bella to partner with Brie Bella in the fatal four-way tag team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship and ended up pinning Alexa Bliss to win the title.
Paige then appeared with the Bella Twins on the WrestleMania 42 post-show and commented on her return to WWE.
“The feeling was bonkers, and to be in the ring with these two, I mean, I’m Pale Bella. It’s not 2016 unless I’m home, baby.” When Big E asked her if her goal was to always return to WWE, Paige said, “100% WWE is my home. I was raised here, I mean, Big E I’ve known you since I was 18 years old, and I’ll be 34 this year. I’m a WWE girl forever, and a Total Diva!
Paige also took to X/Twitter to post a picture with the Bella Twins and AJ Lee, with the caption, “I’m backkkk… did you miss me? Another debut. Another championship baby.”
Tonight marked the first time Paige has competed inside a WWE ring since December 2017. A neck injury forced her into retirement that year, and she worked in non-wrestling roles for the promotion before leaving to compete for AEW under her real name, Saraya, in 2022. She left AEW in March 2025 and has finally returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42.
