Pat McAfee just stirred the pot again — this time by trolling fans who thought a major surprise was coming during WrestleMania weekend.
During The Pat McAfee Show ahead of WrestleMania 42, Pat McAfee admitted he intentionally fooled fans into believing a huge surprise appearance was about to happen at WWE World. Instead, the reveal turned out to be nothing more than McAfee himself — something he clearly enjoyed rubbing in.
“Surprise, nerds! The surprise that you thought was maybe going to be your favorite wrestler of all time. Maybe, maybe somebody from AEW was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania and you marks were going to get zipper burn all over yourself. Instead, well, well, well, Pat McAfee smarter than all of you dumb marks yet again.”
McAfee didn’t stop at the trolling either. He went on to send a warning about what he and Randy Orton have planned for WrestleMania weekend, hinting that their involvement is going to shake things up in a big way.
“Well, I got another surprise for you. What me and Randy are about to do to your entire WrestleMania weekend is something that you can’t prepare for, you can’t control… You’re gonna be crying your ass off as you leave WrestleMania knowing that what was, what you all let happen, is over. And Randy Orton is about to run this industry back to what it’s supposed to be out of your dumbass hands. Have a great WrestleMania weekend.”
The comments come as McAfee remains deeply involved in the ongoing storyline tied to Cody Rhodes and Orton, a situation that has already sparked strong reactions from fans heading into WrestleMania 42.
