Because I fking called him and told him, that’s why.” He made it clear there was no deeper surprise, shutting down speculation in blunt fashion.
He also mocked fans hoping for bigger names, saying “I wanted it to be The Rock… You think The Rock wants to do anything for you?” and brushing off another popular guess with “I wanted it to be Vince McMahon. Vince? Sorry.” McAfee ended the debate by doubling down, repeating “It was me. It was me.”
