PFF Reveals Team’s Biggest Steal In The 2026 NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers entered the 2026 NFL Draft with eight scheduled picks. They did not have a first round selection this year, nor will they have one next year after sending both to the Dallas Cowboys as part of the Micah Parsons trade. Despite having eight picks, Green Bay selected six players after using some of their draft capital to move up a couple of times.

PFF recently released their grades for each team’s 2026 NFL Draft class, and the Packers received a solid B. They were praised for taking Brandon Cisse in the second round, whom many believe will develop into a formidable starting NFL cornerback. Other picks, such as kicker Trey Smack in the sixth round, were considered reaches.

However, one player was described by PFF as an absolute steal.

PFF believes the Green Bay Packers got a steal in defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton

The pick that PFF loved the most from Green Bay’s draft was that of pass rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton in the fourth round. Of Dennis-Sutton, PFF wrote, “The Packers secured a significant steal in Penn State edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton. Ranked No. 67 on the PFF Big Board but taken at pick 120, Dennis-Sutton posted the class’s highest PFF grade (80.1) and offers elite length.”

They also included a pre-draft analysis of Dennis-Sutton, which stated, “Dennis-Sutton projects best as a 3-4 defensive end with some 4-3 flexibility. His length and size are clear strengths, though his agility in space is more limited. With ascending play, he could be drafted higher than his current tape suggests.”

New defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is implementing a 3-4 base defense, so Dennis-Sutton will fit right in based on PFF’s assessment of his best NFL fit.

The Penn State product had very similar seasons in 2024 and 2025, posting 42 total tackles and 8.5 sacks in each campaign. The only statistical difference was that he had 13.0 tackles for loss in 2024 and 12.0 in 2025.

With Lukas Van Ness’ fifth-year option picked up, Dennis-Sutton will likely have a backup role behind the former first round pick and Parsons. However, as Parsons may miss the first few weeks of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL, Dennis-Sutton may get some early opportunities.
