Sanju Samson – 3934 runs 

The current Rajasthan Royals skipper leads the chart for the most runs for the franchise in IPL. Sanju Samson has played for the team since 2013, barring two years when they were suspended. He has amassed 3934 runs for RR from 141 innings at an average of 31.72 and strike rate of 140.55. He has smashed two centuries and 25 half centuries for the franchise, with the best score of 119 off 63 against Punjab Kings in 2021. IPL 2024 was his best ever season, scoring 534 runs at an average of 48 while striking at 153. 

Ajinkya Rahane – 3098 runs 

Ajinkya Rahane was a regular feature at the top of the order for RR from 2011 to 2019. He occupies the second spot on the list of players with most runs for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. Rahane batted in 99 innings for the franchise and scored 3098 runs at an average of 35.6 and strike rate of 122.3. He registered two hundreds and 21 fifties during his stint for RR. His first century came in 2012 when he hit 103 not-out in 60 deliveries against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In 2019, he struck 105 not-out in 63 against Delhi Capitals. 

Jos Buttler – 3055 runs 

England’s T20 World Cup-winning captain Jos Buttler is perhaps the best batter in the history of Rajasthan Royals. He has been an integral part of the franchise since 2018 and has been prolific at the top. Buttler has 3055 runs to his name in the RR jersey from 82 innings, averaging 41.84 at a strike rate of 147.79. He has smashed seven centuries and 18 half centuries for the team, and is second on the table of the most centuries. IPL 2022 was his best season, where he won the Orange Cap for his 863 runs at an average of 57.5 and strike rate of 149.1. Buttler smashed four centuries in the 2022 season and two this year. 

Shane Watson – 2474 runs 

Shane Watson was the player of the tournament when RR won their only IPL trophy. One of the most impactful players in the league, Watson occupies the fourth spot on the table of players with most runs for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He made 2474 runs from 81 innings at an average of 35.85 while striking at 140.16. Watson blasted two centuries and 14 half centuries during his stint for the franchise. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal – 1607 runs 

Yashasvi Jaiswal is one of the most exciting players in the world and he has been pretty good for the Royals. Representing them since 2020, the left-hand batter has scored 1607 runs at an average of 32.14 while striking at a superb rate of 150.60. He has hammered two hundreds and nine fifties in IPL. Jaiswal had an incredible season last year, where he struck 625 runs at 52 average and 163.6 strike rate. 

Rahul Dravid – 1324 runs 

Rahul Dravid played at the franchise for three seasons between 2011 to 2013. He made 1324 runs for the team in this period at an average of 27.02 and strike rate of 108.88, including seven fifties. Dravid was solid at the top and sits sixth on the list of players with most runs for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. 

Riyan Parag – 1173 runs 

Riyan Parag has been a part of the Rajasthan team since 2019 but backing him finally paid for them in IPL 2024. He made 573 runs in the most recent season at an average of 52 and strike rate of 149. Overall, he has the seventh most runs for RR with 1173 runs at 24.43 average and 135.13 strike rate, including six half centuries. 

Steven Smith – 1070 runs 

Australian batter Steven Smith played four IPL editions for Rajasthan between 2014 to 2020. He made 1070 runs for them during his time, averaging 30.57 at a scoring rate of 126.92. He registered eight fifties in 43 innings, including 79 not-out in 53 deliveries against Mumbai Indians in 2015. 

Yusuf Pathan – 1011 runs 

One of India’s true power-hitters Yusuf Pathan played a key role in Rajasthan Royals winning their only IPL title in 2008. He played three seasons for them and remains ninth on the list of players with most runs for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He made 1011 runs from 42 innings at an average of 26.6 while striking at a superb 161.24.

Stuart Binny – 812 runs 

Stuart Binny was part of the Royals franchise from 2011 to 2019. Batting in the lower middle order, the all-rounder scored 812 runs for RR at an average of 20.3 and strike rate of 132.67. Binny’s best came in 2013, when he hit 374 runs at 31 average and 151 strike rate.
