The pools for the final leg of the HSBC SVNS World Championship have been confirmed ahead of the Bordeaux 7s, set to take place at Stade Atlantique in Bordeaux, France, from June 5-7.
The tournament will bring together the world’s top men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams as they battle for the overall world championship title in what promises to be a thrilling finale to the 2026 season.
In the men’s competition, Pool A features a blockbuster lineup with South Africa, Fiji, Kenya and Great Britain drawn together. The pool is expected to provide some of the most competitive clashes of the tournament, with all four sides boasting significant experience on the SVNS circuit.
For Kenya’s Shujaa, the draw presents a stern test as they face reigning series champions South Africa alongside Olympic silver medalists Fiji and a resurgent Great Britain side as they seek another top eight finish.
Pool B comprises Australia, Spain, the USA and Uruguay, while Pool C sees Argentina, New Zealand, hosts France and Germany battle for places in the knockout stages.
