Racquet Rally Invitational Shines a Spotlight on South Florida
– Florida Tennis

The Delray Beach Tennis Center came alive this past weekend as host of the 2026 Racquet Rally Invitational, a two-day celebration of racquet sports that brought together 10 of the nation’s top yellow-ball competitors with autism and neurodivergence.

The event was nothing short of electric. Over two days, athletes competed with remarkable skill and heart, guided by former WTA professional Brenda Schultz-McCarthy, Love Serving Autism founder Lisa Pugliese-LaCroix, and a team of dedicated certified tennis professionals.

Friday added an exciting dimension when the athletes took to the courts at XCEL Padel Westlake in Westlake, bringing their racquet sport versatility to the padel game with equal enthusiasm.

The level of play throughout the weekend was outstanding, a testament to both the athletes’ commitment and the power of racquet sports as a therapeutic and competitive platform. Off the court, the competitors left a lasting impression on everyone involved, personally writing thank-you cards for each coach and support staff member, a gesture as meaningful as any match played.

The energy and connection forged over those two days made one thing clear: South Florida has found a truly special event. The athletes are already eager to return, and the countdown to the 3rd Annual Racquet Rally Invitational in 2027 is officially on.
