Ric Flair is done letting people downplay what he gave to professional wrestling, as he just called out his haters and made it clear he will not be denied.
Flair took to Twitter and called out critics who have been taking shots at him after his recent social media drama involving David Flair, health concerns, and public backlash. Flair made it clear that he believes his contributions to the wrestling business speak for themselves, especially when it comes to the money and attention he helped generate for others over several decades.
“If All Of You Haters Don’t Realize What I Have Done In The Business Of Professional Wrestling To Make A Fortune For A Lot Of People, Let Me Remind You.”
The Nature Boy then pointed to the brutal schedule he worked during his prime, saying that part of his career will never be replaced or duplicated. Flair then told his critics to come back after they have lived through what he did, while also demanding a new title from this point forward.
“300 Times A Year, One Hour A Night For 10 Years. This Is A Chapter In Life That Will Never Be Replaced Or Duplicated. Get Back To Me When You’ve Been There. From Now On- Don’t Call Me Ric, Call Me LEGEND!”
This comes after Flair tried to move past a rough few days online by linking up with Kid Rock and joking that at least Kid Rock still likes him. Before that, Flair had apologized for his frustration and said he was taking time to focus on his health after posting from outside an emergency room.
Flair had also posted several messages aimed at David Flair, including comments about the Flair name, alleged trademark issues, and their damaged relationship. While he later walked back the idea that he was suing his son, the situation still drew plenty of reaction online.
Now, Ric Flair is shifting the focus back to his wrestling legacy. After everything that unfolded over the past few days, The Nature Boy is making it clear he still believes his place in history is untouchable.
