Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are arguably the NFL’s most prolific duo in NFL history, combining for 15 playoff touchdowns and four Super Bowl titles throughout their legendary run with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, they also have an incredibly close bond off the field, and Gronkowski recently weighed in on Brady’s love life.
Rob Gronkowski Offers Advice to Single Tom Brady
In an interview with Page Six, the four-time Super Bowl champion was promoting his 2026 Gronk Beach music festival, and Gronkowski revealed how he advised his former teammate to score off the field.
“Just follow your heart, Tom,” Gronkowski said with a grin. “You know, wherever your heart is leading you, wherever your gut instinct is leading you. Just follow that heart, Tom.
“Just like he has with the game of football, treat the game of football… like how you treat dating and you’ll be very successful. Like, a number one of all time,” Gronkowski added.
Brady was married to fashion model Gisele Bündchen for 13 years, until the couple decided to divorce on October 28, 2022. Citing their marriage as “irretrievably broken,” the couple signed the papers in Florida, agreeing to co-parent their children.
Throughout his NFL career, Gronkowski totaled 621 catches for 9,286 yards and 93 total touchdowns. Throughout Brady’s legendary career, he totaled 89,214 yards, 649 TDs, and 212 INTs, while also rushing for 28 scores.
Brady and Gronkowski’s bond was so strong that when Brady left the Patriots to join the Buccaneers, he brought his favorite tight end out of retirement to come with him. The duo went on to win Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs, connecting for two touchdowns in the contest.
When asked who is the most fun at a party out of Brady, Julian Edelman, and Mike Vrabel, Gronk went with his best buddy: “It’s got to be Tom.”
“Believe it or not, that’s a surprise answer. It really is. But Tom is on a hot streak right now. He’s ready to go. So, hey, it’s Tom I’m going to go with,” Gronkowski said before admitting that he never partied with Vrabel.
As for Edelman, Gronkowski explained that his “Dudes on Dudes” podcast co-host is no longer a big partier.
“He was [the] ultimate partier, but he has toned it down big time,” Gronkowski said of Edelman. “But he was definitely number one at one point. You know, he was my go-to guy. He was my wingman.”
Gronkowski made sure to finish the interview by inviting Brady to come party with him at Gronk Beach.
“He has full VIP if he ever wants to come,” Gronkowski said. “And if [for] some reason he’s in Vegas, I’ll have to tell him, ‘Hey, just make an appearance. Let’s take a couple shots. Now, you’re not playing anymore. I’m not playing anymore. We can enjoy our time.”
