The May 18 episode of WWE RAW went down at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This was an important show, a go-home episode before Saturday Night’s Main event. They also had a lot to build toward Clash in Italy.
Jacob Fatu opened up the show this week. It didn’t take long for the Usos to come out. Then things escalated quickly and got physical.
Roman Reigns made his way out next, and then things popped off. A 3 on 1 attack left Jacob Fatu lying in the ring, catching his breath and looking angry.
Then Jacob Fatu grabbed the microphone and challenged Roman Reigns to a Tribal Combat match. It didn’t take Roman Reigns long to accept this matchup, and that upped the stakes in a big way.
Michael Cole noted on commentary that a match of that magnitude will likely take place at Clash in Italy. They didn’t outright announce when this Tribal Combat match is happening, but Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are going to probably tear each other apart whenever they meet.
