Roman Reigns walked out of WrestleMania 42 as World Heavyweight Champion — but his post-show moment didn’t go the way WWE expected as he dealt with loud “F*** TKO” chants.
Speaking during the WrestleMania 42 post-show panel, Reigns was speaking about WWE’s current era and the role of TKO Group Holdings when the crowd suddenly turned on the moment. As Reigns talked about the company’s growth and name-dropped TKO and Endeavor, he leaned into his larger-than-life persona while addressing his value.
“I said it—I’m an unsigned billion-dollar check. And guess who cashed it, baby? WWE, TKO Group Holdings, Endeavor Group Holdings. This is what it is, man—this is the one that brought us up.”
Right after that line, the crowd hijacked the segment with loud chants aimed directly at TKO, completely shifting the energy in the arena. Fans began chanting “F** TKO!” repeatedly, drowning out the panel. Reigns tried to play it off at first, reacting with a smirk as he addressed the unpredictable crowd reaction: “A bipolar bunch out here, huh?”
But the chants didn’t die down. If anything, they got louder, with fans doubling down and even throwing up middle fingers as the segment continued — leaving Reigns visibly uncomfortable as the moment slipped out of control.
The reaction comes after backlash tied to WrestleMania 42 creative decisions, particularly the controversial involvement of Pat McAfee in the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton storyline — a move many fans have blamed on TKO’s influence.
In the end, Reigns got the win, but the crowd made it clear they’re not fully on board with the direction behind the scenes. What should’ve been a victory lap quickly turned into a statement from the audience instead.
Do you think the crowd was justified in hijacking Roman Reigns’ moment, or did they take things too far? Let us know your thoughts.
