Roman Reigns just made a big promise about working full-time this summer — but now he’s suddenly missing from WWE’s June Raw advertising.
Reigns has been removed from WWE’s official listings for all four June episodes of Monday Night Raw, despite previously being advertised for a full stretch of shows following his WrestleMania 42 victory over CM Punk. The updated promotional material for June no longer includes Reigns, and his name has been taken off WWE.com listings for those dates.
Originally, Reigns had been promoted for eight straight Raw appearances after WrestleMania 42. Those included May 4 in Omaha, May 11 in Knoxville, May 18 in Greensboro, May 25 in Columbus, followed by June 1 in Turin, June 8 in Paris, June 15 in Baltimore, and June 22 in London. Now, all four June appearances — including three overseas shows — have been scrubbed from WWE’s official advertising.
The timing stands out because it comes just weeks after Reigns publicly promised fans that he would be working a full summer schedule. He made that statement during the WrestleMania 42 post-show after being confronted with chants about his limited appearances.
While responding to Corey Graves and the crowd, Reigns made it clear he intended to change the perception about his availability.
“I’m gonna take y’all to Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. All this part-time crap? We’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room, because y’all gonna see my ass all summer.”
Reigns has worked a lighter schedule since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024, which made his recent promise about being present all summer stand out even more.
Despite the removal from June advertising, Reigns is still scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash on May 9 in Tampa, Florida. He accepted a challenge from Jacob Fatu after tensions escalated between the cousins following WrestleMania.
Three of the June Raw shows he was removed from are international dates — Turin, Paris, and London — with Baltimore being the lone domestic show during that stretch. That pattern raises questions about whether travel scheduling could be a factor behind the change.
Reigns captured the World Heavyweight Championship on April 19 at WrestleMania 42 Night 2 when he defeated CM Punk in the main event. The victory marked his seventh world title reign in WWE and his 11th WrestleMania main event appearance.
With SummerSlam set for August 1 and 2 in Minneapolis, attention now turns to whether this change is temporary or a sign that Reigns’ summer schedule may not be as full as he originally suggested.
Do you think Roman Reigns being pulled from June Raw advertising is just a scheduling adjustment, or does it signal another reduced schedule? Drop your thoughts and feedback below.
