Rome tennis preview, pick, and prediction: Khachanov vs. Prizmic

Dino Prizmic is playing the best tennis of his career heading into round four of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia on Tuesday. The 20-year-old Croat reached the third round in Madrid as a qualifier, ousting Ben Shelton in the process. He also qualified for the main draw in Rome and then defeated Marton Fucsovics, Novak Djokovic, and Ugo Humbert.

For Khachanov, on the other hand, it has been a rough 2026 campaign. The 15th-ranked Russian is just 10-10 this season even after beating Alexander Shevchenko and Botic van de Zandschulp earlier this fortnight. Khachanov wasn’t particularly impressive during his three-set win over Van de Zandschulp on Sunday.

Prizmic is the oddsmakers’ favorite — and he is favored for a reason.

Pick: Prizmic in 3
