Moving beyond traditional digital outreach, Schwalbe UK’s promoters Ben, Grant, Ed, and Rich hit the road in the all-electric vehicles and several deliveries being handled via the Tern GSD electric cargo bike to navigate tighter town centre streets to hand-deliver bespoke care packages directly to the shop floor. This face-to-face initiative serves as a testament to the brand’s “boots-on-the-ground” philosophy; while Local Bike Shop Week offered a specific moment to celebrate, the team’s year-round presence on the road remains the primary driver of Schwalbe’s support for the UK trade.
Each care package offered a “Taste of Shropshire,” celebrating Schwalbe UK’s local heritage. Sourced from Schwalbe UK’s home county, the bundles included local Shropshire brew tea and Shrewsbury biscuits, paired with bespoke mugs featuring illustrations of regional landmarks—including the iconic Schwalbe UK headquarters.
The campaign saw the team cover hundreds of miles, visiting shops to share a brew, a biscuit, and a conversation. The reaction from the trade has been overwhelmingly positive.
