Scrapped Plans for Jon Moxley at AEW All In London Revealed

Jon Moxley apparently knew exactly who he wanted to wrestle at Wembley Stadium. AEW, however, had a different idea.

With AEW All In London still two months away, the card is already starting to take shape. Will Ospreay is set to challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship, while Mercedes Moné will go after Thekla and the AEW Women’s Title. Moxley, meanwhile, is still the AEW Continental Champion after knocking off Bandido at Forbidden Door, but his All In plans remain a mystery.

Now we may know one match that isn’t happening. During a Self Made Session, Self Made Pro revealed that Moxley personally wanted to face Kenny Omega at Wembley. According to the report, he was told AEW is not doing that match at All In.

“I will tell you this — I’m really curious what Jon Moxley is doing at Wembley because I was told he wanted to work Kenny, and I was told that they’re not doing it at Wembley. Jon wanted Kenny at Wembley.”

Over the past month, Moxley and Omega have crossed paths multiple times, including a backstage segment involving Omega and Will Ospreay where Moxley and Omega locked eyes long enough to get fans talking. It looked like AEW was planting seeds for a match down the road, which is why hearing the match isn’t happening at Wembley comes as a surprise.

So for now, Moxley vs. Omega stays on ice. Moxley wanted Kenny at Wembley, but unless plans change, fans are getting something else from the Continental Champion at All In London.

Do you think AEW made the wrong call by not doing Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega at All In London? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
