Seth Rollins has been through a lot in his WWE career. He may not have received the WrestleMania match that he initially wanted, but he is back in the saddle, and his eyes are set to take on Bron Breakker in a grudge match that’s a long time coming.
The April 27 episode of WWE RAW went down at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas. Seth Rollins came out to kick off the show this week for RAW.
Fans in Texas sang Seth Rollins’ song to him before he started, and they were fully behind The Visionary. He wasn’t happy about losing to GUNTHER at WrestleMania, or Roman Reigns as champion, and he blamed Bron Breakker for those things.
At that point, Bron Breakker was called out, and he came down. Rollins said that he handed the world to Bron Breakker on a silver platter he threw it all back in his face. He blamed Breakker for all the opportunities he missed this year, and he asked what Breakker got out of it. At that point,
Bron Breakker fired back to ask what Seth Rollins ever gave him or Bronson Reed. He said that Rollins was nothing, and he needed the Brons to back him up. Then Seth Rollins called Paul Heyman a rotten sack of meat when Bron Breakker said he needed Paul Heyman.
Then Seth Rollins told a story about how he’s had his eye on Bron Breakker since NXT, which is why he agreed to work with him. Rollins knows what it’s like to be in Breakker’s shoes and to bet on yourself. The difference between the two of them is that Breakker tries, while Rollins succeeds.
Seth Rollins said that all Bron Breakker has received was Logan Paul and Austin Theory in his corner, with Paul Heyman giving him steak dinners and happy endings. He said that Breakker isn’t ready, but then Bron said that Seth can’t handle it because his body is too brittle. Breakker said that Rollins is the best pro wrestler at being number two, and Rollins said that line was good “baby Steiner.” That is when Rollins booked his match against Breakker at Backlash. In the end, Rollins said that Breakker isn’t even number two in his own family.
WWE Backlash is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. This will be a big event with a ton of WrestleMania aftermath, and only time will tell what fans will be talking about when everything is said and done.
