Sevier Valley Rooster Ride Set for August 15, 2026 – Cycling West

RICHFIELD, Utah (March 2026) — Cyclists seeking clean air, quiet backroads, and a touch of Utah history are invited to join the annual Sevier Valley Rooster Ride on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Starting and finishing at Richfield’s Lions Park, this premier road cycling event continues its tradition of showcasing the “hidden gems” of Sevier County to hundreds of riders from across the region.

The event’s name pays homage to the Sevier Valley’s historic “Rooster Valley”, the premier pheasant hunting destination. Today, the “hunt” has shifted from game to an epic riding experience. Participants will pedal through the heart of Sevier County—famously dubbed “Utah’s Trail County”—on routes that wind past historic sites, including the ancient rock art of Fremont Indian State Park. Located in the heart of Utah, Sevier County is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, boasting over 2,000 miles of trails. Richfield, the county seat, serves as the gateway to the Sevier Valley’s scenic beauty and welcoming rural charm.
