Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shreyas Iyer has been magnificent on the field in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The MA Chidambaram Stadium is hosting the game between the two teams.
Shreyas Iyer has been having a decent game as skipper in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. The Punjab Kings captain has been making brilliant bowling changes and has also been spot-on with his field placements, making sure they put pressure on the opposition.
Shreyas Iyer also came up with a magical effort in the field, and it surely saved four runs for his team. The effort from the Punjab Kings skipper came on the 3rd ball of the 16th over, which was a free hit, and Suryansh Shedge was bowling.
Your daily dose of cricket!
Suryansh Shedge overcooked the yorker just a touch, and that ended up serving as a low full-toss. Sam Curran, who was batting, managed to get under it and lofted it towards long-on. With the kind of connection that it had, it looked like the ball would sail over for a six.
But Shreyas Iyer came up with a brilliant effort. The Punjab Kings skipper intercepted it with a magnificent jump. He took it and tossed it back into play before going over the ropes to save four runs for his team.
