Sol Ruca Reacts To Title Win at WWE Clash in Italy

Sol Ruca shares her reaction to winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WWE Clash in Italy.

Following her big win against Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy, new Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca appeared on the PLE’s post-show. Speaking to the panelists, she thanked the fans for their support and noted that she feels proud of herself.

“It feels absolutely incredible. These fans tonight were absolutely incredible. I could not have done it without you guys cheering me on. Grazie (thank you in Italian). It was an absolutely incredible moment to be out there and to be in the ring with someone like Becky Lynch, who is a three-time Intercontinental Champion. My experience thus far on RAW has just been absolutely incredible, and I’m so proud of myself and how I was able to pull this through tonight,” Sol Ruca said.

When asked how she felt after hitting the Sol Snatcher on Becky Lynch, Sol Ruca said, “I think you can see it right on my face at the end. As soon as that one, two, three, water works started going. I was honestly in disbelief. I did believe in myself walking into this match, but once it actually happens, once you hear that one, two, three, I got the chills. I was so excited to be doing this in front of everyone here, and to actually hold the title, and be like, ‘This is mine.’

Sol Ruca is relieved after the win

When asked if she was relieved after the win, Sol Ruca stated that she felt nervous going into the match, but felt a confidence boost once she pulled it off.

“Absolutely. Obviously, I was a little bit nervous going into it, as I said. I do have to have that confidence to go in there. I can’t let those nerves get to me. So I do show up with this confidence, but then once it actually happens, and you’re like, ‘Damn! I did just do that,’ you do get a bit of a confidence boost. It was an awesome opportunity.

No hard feelings to Becky. I know she was a little resistant to even have this match, but I’m so thankful that she came to terms with it and decided to pull through with this match. I’m honored to be in the ring with someone like her,” Sol Ruca said.

Sol Ruca then shared her reaction to being part of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. With one title in her grasp, she noted that she’s ready for another. She will take on Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill in the first round.
